Exemption from Basic Medical Classes for Healthcare Professionals
Holders of healthcare qualifications such as doctors, dentists, physical therapists, judo therapists, massage and shiatsu practitioners, acupuncturists, and nurses are not required to attend basic medical classes. (While Dr. Hayakawa’s classes on embryology and applied anatomy are not mandatory for studying biodynamics, they are recommended. If you wish to review anatomy or embryology, we encourage you to attend these classes.)
Exemption for Graduates of Osteopathy Schools
Graduates of osteopathy schools such as Japan College of Osteopathy and Atlas College of Osteopathy are exempt from basic medical classes even if they do not hold a healthcare qualification.
Exemption from Osteopathy Biomechanical Classes
Graduates of osteopathy schools and holders of MRO(J) certification are not required to attend osteopathy biomechanical classes.
