The course requirements differ between students without a national healthcare qualification (Type I) and those with a national qualification (Type II).
Type I: Students without a national healthcare qualification must complete a total of 4,200 hours by graduation, of which 1,000 hours must be in a an osteopathic supervised clinic.
Type II: Students with a national healthcare qualification must complete a total of 2,200 hours by graduation, of which 200 hours must be in an osteopathic supervised clinic.
Course Requirements
Courses in black: These must be completed by Type I students. If they have previously completed equivalent training, they may be partially exempt.
Courses in red: These are required for all TSO students (both Type I and II*) to graduate.
Courses in blue: These are elective courses. The hours completed will count as credits towards graduation.

About Auditors
Students who have graduated from, or are currently enrolled in an osteopathy school that meets the WHO standards can audit classes or take individual courses of their choice, as long as there are available spots and without the intention of obtaining a degree.

Type 1 (Without a National Healthcare License)
2. At least 1,000 of those hours must be clinical practice under the supervision of a qualified supervisor.
3. In addition to the above conditions, the applicant must have graduated from or be expected to graduate from an osteopathy school.
Type 2 (With a National Healthcare License)
1. Completion or expected completion of 2,200 hours of osteopathic training.
2. At least 200 of those hours must be clinical practice under the supervision of a qualified supervisor.
