Dr. Olixn Adams D.O.
Dr. Olixn Adams received his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. He then completed a three-year residency in Family Medicine, training at a rural hospital in Wray, Colorado.
During residency, he witnessed first-hand the profound healing potential of osteopathy while providing full-spectrum care in small farming and ranching communities of eastern Colorado. Dr. Adams brought osteopathic treatment to patients across every setting—hospital wards, the emergency room, the obstetrical suite, the clinic, and even their homes. It was in this context that he came to appreciate a deep truth: within every patient there is an innate wholeness expressing perfect health. When a physician perceives and supports this wholeness, a tremendous potential for healing is unlocked. Dr. Adams believes we are truly fortunate to have the Biodynamics of Osteopathy as a living body of wisdom to help guide the next generation of physicians and healers worldwide.
Dr. Adams began the study of Biodynamics under his mentor, Dr. James Jealous, even before entering medical school. He considers it a profound gift to have worked closely with his mentor for eighteen years. Out of gratitude, he honors Dr. Jealous’s request by teaching osteopathy to many skilled and dedicated physicians, osteopaths, and healers around the world—all while maintaining a full-time osteopathic medical practice at Southern Coos Hospital and acting as the medical director for Pranada Wellens Center.
Dr. Adams emphasizes that traditional osteopathy and the Biodynamic curriculum are not techniques but a living body of knowledge. They embody essential principles of healing that guide the sincere seeker to the Health within. Healing, he teaches, is a movement toward wholeness—initiated through the Breath of Life.
